PERSONAL
Mr. and Mrs. 11. Bradeock who were residents, of Foxton many years ago and who have since resided in Nelson district and Ohakune, have returned to settle permanently in Foxton. Mr. and Mrs. Bradeock have erected a residence in Harbour Street. The late Fenton Latham a victim of the Aft. Egmont tragedy, enme to New Zealand in 1906, with the idea of taking up farming. He was connected with an agency business in Wellington until 1912, when he joined the Collegiate School teaching staff. He was an experienced mountaineer, and had made numerous ascents of Ruapehu and Egmont. He was an athlete of considerable prowess, was a keen tennis player and cricketer. He leaves a wife and two children. One, n boy 20 years of age, has been cricket coach at the College for the past few years. Together with the late Mr. Baines, Mr. Latham was a member of the Wanganui Ski Club. Mr. Latham’s funeral will take place to-morrow.
