Auckland, Last Night. William Thomas Osmond admitted using permises in Hobson Street as a common gaming house, and was Ined £3O. \ Gisborne, May 9. Arthur Owen was charged at the Police Court this morning with having used his premises as a common gaming house, and Cornelius Paterson was charged with assisting him. The charges were laid in consequence of a police raid on Saturday on Owen’s premises, where he conducted business as a tobacconist and hairdresser. A remand till next Monday was granted:
