THE ROYAL PARTY.

ENTERTAINMENT EXPENSES

Wellington, May 2,

The Minister for Internal Mail’s (Hon. Mr R. F. Bollard), in reply to complaints that the limit of £4OO to local bodies in the reception of the Royal party was unfair, stated to-day that the grant was made in accordance with arrangements made by the Government, but in view of further representations inquiries were being made and a final adjustment would be made when that information has been obtained.
