The Foxton Football Club will hold their usual euchre party this evening.
C. K. Woodroofe, auctioneer, advertises a sale on behalf of Mr Towns, Union St., on Monday next, May Ist.
J. c. Hutton and Co. advise Monday, May 2nd, as trucking date for Foxton, and Monday, May 9th, as the date for Shannon. The monthly meeting of the local Chamber of Commerce will be held in Ross’ rooms at 7.30 o’clock this evening. A full attendance of members is requested. A reminder is given of the fivehundred card tournament to be held at. Mr J. M. Thomson’s residence, under the auspices of the Bowling Club to-night. A good evenng’s entertainment is assured. The New Zealand Railways notify that the up and down Welling-ton-Auckland daylight Limited expresses will be discontinued after Saturday, 30th April.
