WEDDING.

WILLS—WANKLYN. Yesterday, at All Saints’ Church, Foxton, the wedding was solemnised of Miss Myra Wanklyn, youngest daughter of Mr T. and the late Mrs Wanklyn, of Foxton, . to Mr Hugh Powdrell -Wills, of Elthain, the Rev. W. H. Walton officiating. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr S. H. Wanklyn, was attired in beige knife pleated georgette and lace over shell pink georgette. The hand embroidered shell pink veil was held in place with a coronet of orange blossims. She earned a shower bouquet of pale pink roses and buvadias with'maiden hair- fern. The bridesmaids were Miss Ethel Wanklyn, who wore a mulberry silk eolienue with hat to match, and Mss Amy Wills, wearing cyclamen georgette and lace with hat to suit, each carrying a bouquet to tone. Mi- Gordon Wills attended his brother as best man, and Mr Godfrey Hawken, of Hawera, was groomsman. * The mother of the bridegroom, Mrs A. T. Wills, of Hawera, wore a navy tailored costume with fur trimmings and black hat. Mrs Moore, the. bride’s sister, navy coat frock with black fui and hat.' After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of Mr and Mrs Moore. Later Mr and Mrs Wills left on a motor tour, the bride travelling in a bois de rose charmaline frock, velour bat and Canadian fox fur.
