ODDFELLOWS’ LODGE

A meeting of the Loyal Foxton Lodge M.U.1.0.0.F., was held last Tuesday night in the Methodist school-room. There were present: • —Sister Reader, N.G., Brother Jacobsen, V.G., Bro. Nye juur., G.M., Bro. Harris, R.S. N.G., Bro. Newton, L.S. N G., Bro. Burns, R.S. V.G., Bro. Kennedy, L.S. V.G., organist, Sis. Symons, E.S., Sis. Thompson and Bros. King senr., Nye senr., Symons, Vertongen, Huntley, Bullard and Howe.

The usual business was suspended to allow the initiation of a new member to be proceeded with.

The ballot was then taken for Mrs. Ann Burns to become an honorary member which was carried unanimously. The initiation was then proceeded with.

Correspondence was" read and received.

Bro. Harris reported that members who had paid contributions to Hospital Association have been accepted.

Bro. King senr., was appointed auditor. c '

Bro. Harris drew tlie .attention of members‘to-the fact That Committee _was hoLdingui; social and dance in All Saints’ school-room -on April 29th. and. requested members to support same. It was also announced that meetings would commence at 7.30 p.m. through winter months, the next meeting to be held on April 26th. The meeting terminated by singing the Ode.
