FOOTBALL.
The Foxton Foobtall Club Juniors will leave for Wellington by motorlorry nt. 9.30 a.m. on Friday to play Berhampore. The team is under the management of Mr. A. Walls, and will leave Wellington for Foxton on Monday afternoon. Arrangements have been made by Berhampore to meet the team at Lambtom Station on arrival. Seventeen members will make the trip. WEDNESDAY FOOTBALL CLUB. A meeting of all those interested in the formation of a Wednesday Football team will be held in Grady’s rooms at 7.30 o’clock next Thursday. A full muster of players and intending players is requested.
The following will represent Foxton thirds v. Shannon, at the racecourse on Saturday:— Huff, Hartley, Simpson (2), Grimstone, Smith, Davey, Hiring McCarthy, Newson, Newth, Anderson, Dunn, Charles, Rankin. The following will represent the junior team to play Berhampore at Athletic Park, Wellington, on Easter Saturday:— Backs: Taylor, Burnett, Stevenson, Hartley, Huff, Hirini, Perreau. Forwards: Shaw, Scotty Woods, Graham, Gupwell, Wright, Anderson, Broad. Emergencies: Back: Walls, forwards: deßidder, Wright.
