FOOTBALL.
Cycling being over for the season the ladies of the Foxton Football Club Committee have decided to hold a series of euchre parties in Hamer’s sample rooms in aid of the Foxton Football Club. The tournaments will be run on similar lines lo those obtaining for the Cycling Club and an enjoyable time •can be anticipated by card enthusiasts. Good prizes will be awarded and excellent supper provided.
A well attended general meeting of the Foxton Rugby Football Club was held last night, when matters pertaining to the welfare of the Club were discussed and routine business dealt with.
