SCHOOL GIRL FALLS FROM TRAIN

i BODY TERRIBLY MILITATED. Pukekohe, March 31. A Pukekohe Technical High School girl, named Lily Isabella Reid, aged 14, whose parents reside at Ponga, near Papakura, met her death in tragic circumstances this morning. Deceased was a passenger by the train which arrives at Pukekohe at 9.10 o’clock. When GOO yards north of Pukekohe Station deceased left the carriage for the platform, presumably with the intention of being the first to disembark, hut fell off. Her clothing evidently became entangled. The body was terribly mutilated', No ione witnessed the accident, but upon arrival at the station her schoolmates informed the station master that the girl was missing. Two porters sent out to search located the body.
