“WET PAINT.” Raymond Griffith, the top hatted comedian who has become so popular during the past year, has a highly humorous role in “Wet Paint,” the headline attraction at the Town Hall Cabaret to-morrow (Wednesday) evening. ‘Wet. Paint,” is the story of a wealthy young man whose efforts to win ‘The right girl” take him through hundreds of exciting and embarrassing situations. Among other things ho is tricked into proposing to a girl who has only lured him on to win a bet. Picturegoers can imagine the comedy Griffith infuses into such a position. Supporting the star, are Bryant Washburn and Wolores Costello. On- Friday evening the human western star Harry Carey, will be presented in his first Fox production “The Seventh Bandit.” This is a. picture with a decidedly novel plot of new situations, which is rare among present day Westerns. For the week end programme Peter B. Ivyne’s <f War Paint,” has been specially booked. This is a big drama of the old west of India raid and massacre days, in which Colonel Tin McCoy is featured.
