A friendly game was played at Manakau on Saturday, between the Shannon and Hui Mai Football Clubs, both of which are experimenting with a number of new players and juniors. Both sides lacked the condition which can only be acquired hv training. Shannon’s score consisted of four unconverted tries, which were obtained by Robbie, Hunt, Salherley and Woods. For Hui Mai, a try was scored by Johnson.
