The following will represent the Awnliou seniors against County on Saturday, at the racecourse: —E. Robiusoil, Taylor, Westwood, J. Huff. Moses, S. McGregor, H. Hakaraia, C. Renata, Eparaima, Dan, Cresswell, Harrison, McDonald, Pine, O’Riellv. Emergencies: Backs Shamrock, J. McGregor, forwards 11. McGregor, E. Boyle. The secretary of the Foxt<fn Football Club lu\s received a communication from the Berhampore Club in which it is stated that the Berhampore seniors are playing a match on the Athletic Park on Easter Saturday and suggesting that the junior match with the Foxton Club’ be played as a curtain raiser. The letter continues; “Go ahead and gather your team up. we will hook accommodation hut regret we cannot assist financially.” The local club will discuss the matter at its .next meeting. A friendly game was played at Manakau on Saturday, between the Shannon and Hui Mai Football Clubs, both of which are experimenting with a number of new players and juniors. Both sides lacked the condition which can only be acquired hv training. Shannon’s score consisted of four unconverted tries, which were obtained by Robbie, Hunt, Salherley and Woods. For Hui Mai, a try was scored by Johnson.
