BIG WINTER EXHIBITION.

— One of the biggest, brightest and best Winter Shows in the Dominion, will be held on the spacious' and well appointed showgrounds at Palmerston North on 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th June next. The committee have already begun to make preparations for this big event and the schedule has been thoroughly revised, and classes have been provided for all sections of' the community, among them being competitions for butter, cheese, fruit, honey, vegetables, roots, seeds, farm produce, needlework, cookery, preserves and pickles, photography, etc. The list of prixes is very attractive besides the long list of trophies and cups, and should prove an inducement to those who possibly can to make entries. The Manawatu Poultry Association will also hold their annual champion show in conjunction with the main event. Prize schedule for this section will he available early in May and intending exhibitors should specially ask for poultry schedules when making application for same as they are issued in a separate booklet. The ordinary prize schedule will be available within a couple of weeks and will be posted free to any address in the Dominion on application to the secretary, P.O. Box 85, Palmerston North.
