IN BANKRUPTCY
A petition in bankruptcy has been tiled at the office of the D.O.A. (Mr. C. E. Dempsy) of John Raupi, labourer, of Foxton whose financial statement shows his assets to be worth £SO, while his liabilities amounted to, £275 13s Id, leaving a deficiency of £225 13s Id. Pringle £8 10s; H. S. Wycherley £7 10s; L. W. Holland £9; J. Robson £6 15s; J. L. C. Merton £6 11s Gd; Mummery £9; W. T. Bailey £35; W. E. Jones (Palmerston North} £9; Mhnawatu County Council £7 3s 7d. The only secured creditor is the New Zealand Dairy Union Ltd., the amount of the security being £2O while the debt is £75. SHAREMILKER’S PETITION. A petition in bankruptcy has been filed by George Edward Davis, sharemilker, of Baincsse. His papers show debts owing to unsecured creditors amounting to £169 Bs, while his assets (surplus in hands of secured creditors) amount to £175, thus leaving a surplus of £5 12s. p The unsecured creditors are: K. A meeting of creditors is called for April 6 at 11.30 a.m.
