PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the Foxton Plunket Society was held in the Plunket room yesterday afternoon, presided over by Mrs. W. Trueman. Also present were: Mesdames A. Baker, D. Christie and R. McMurray. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames F. Robinson, W. If. Walton, A. Ross and D. R. Barron. The nurse's monthly report showed : Visits to Foxton 14, to homes 12; adults visits to office 47; children 71); total 123; new cases 2; letters 6. Mrs. D. Christie was re-appoint-ed flower steward' and Mesdames Christie and W. Trueman visitors for the month. Accounts amounting to £1 Os 5d were passed for payment. Proceeds from weighing machine amounted to 7/3, and room contributions 2/0.
