Visitors to Foxton yesterday were Mesdaiiies Fenwick and Donald, of Featherston, and Mr and . Mrs Fenwick junr. Tlr. It. Bollock, representing the Stanley McKay Pantomine Co., which was so successful with “My Geisha Girl,” about Christmas time, was in Foxton to-day making arrangements for the company’s appearance here on Friday, March 25, in “Old Mother Hubjmrd” pantomine. Captain Herd, conductor of the Artillery Band, was conductor of the Wellington Garrison Baud, which for nine successive years established au Australasian unbeaten record at competitions. Captain Herd also trained the Weraroa Farm Baud some years ago, and one of his pupils is now a King’s Trumpeter at Home. Captain Herd is just as keen an enthusiast to-day as he was over a quarter of a century ago. .
