S.M. COURT
MONTHLY SITTING. The usual monthly sitting of the local S.M. Court was held in the Courthouse yesterday before Mi'. J. L. Stout, S.M. ' ' Two eases only were dealt with, two adjourned and the S.M. also presided' over a sitting of the Juvenile Court. CIVIL CASE'S. Judgment was given for plaintiff in the following undefended civil cases: —• E. N. Speirs v. G. E. Davis, £4B 5s 3d, closts £4 10s Gd; P. Tahuruku and C. Hotorini v. L. D. Oliver, £46 16s Od, costs £4 2s Gel. JUDGMENT SUMMONS. R. Shaw was ordered to pay D. Ball £7 5s lOd, plus costs 15/6 forthwith, in default seven days fmprfsbimiiin.il wfirrairtr" suspended as long as defendant pay £1 per month,- list paymen,-6th ‘March. Kauri Patca.'.was. ordered to pay A. R. Osborne £4 l'Os- forthwith in default seven days imprisonment, warrant suspended as 'long as defendant pays 10/- per week, first payment 16th March. A. E. Smith was ordered to' pay Cooper, Rapley and Rutherford £26 3s 2d plus costs £1 11s Gd, forthwith in default 21 days' imprisonment. M. Connelly was ordered to pay /*~>A T. Richards £8 15s Gd 1 , plus costs 15/6, forthwith in default seven days imprisonment.
