VALEDICTORY
The pupils of the .Foxton District High School entertained Mrs. Price at a social gathering in All Saints’ schoolroom oh Tuesday evening, prior to her departure for the Hut't, where she has accepted an appointment on the staff of the Hutt High School. At a suitable juncture Master Malcolm Mason, on behalf of ithe pupils expressed 1 regret at the departure of the guest and paid a tribute to Mrs. Price’s painstaking efforts in the discharge of her' duties and wished her success k in her new sphere of labour. Miss Bessie Crowe presented Mrs Price with a thermos flask aud salad set, as a token of esteen. Miss. Williams, infant mistress, and : others endorsed 'the expressions of good' will expressed on behalf of the secondary pupils, which were feeling acknowledged by Mrs Price. The company jointd! in according the guest musi cial honous. Games were indulged in followed by a tasty supper provided by the girl students.
