* SON’S TRAGIC DISCOVERY. » Wanganui, Yesterday. A well-known and highly respected resident at Makirikiri, Mr. A. G. Anderson, met his death .suddenly on Saturday morning, when a shotgun he was carrying went off accidentally as he was getting through a fence. Mi*. Anderson had left his house with the intention of shooting some turkeys which were doing damage to a young crop on his property, and he had not been away .long when the tragic discovery of bis body was made by his eldest son. There was a severe wound in the side, and death must have been instantaneous.
