SECOND DAY AT DANNEVIRKE. The Dannevirke Autumn meeting concluded on Thursday in fine weather. The to'talisator returns for the- second day showed a falling oc of £3250, compared with last year, when £14,254 was put through the machine. The total for the two days was £24,065, against £29,999 for last year’s meeting, making a deficiency of £5934. Results: High Weight Handicap:—Capitulation 1, Oalluna 2, No Favours 3. Won by a length and a half a length separating second and third. Time 2.13. Novice Stakes:—Waicullus 1, Wild Pigeon 2, Heather Blend 3. Won by a head. Time 1.15. Glengarry Handicap: —Jazz Baby 1, Lady Ideal 2, Standard 3. Won .by half a length. Time 1.14. Tiratu Hack Handicap:—Kalos 1, Nastori 2, Henna 3. Won by a length. Time 1.15. Hartgill Memorial Handicap : Vivo 1, Queen’s Choice 2, Vertigern 3. Wjon by a length. Time 1.52 25. Telephone Hack Handicap:—Hypnotic 1, Break-o-Day 2,.Arehon 3. Won by a length. Time 1.28. Kaitoke Handicap:—Alerry Jest 1, Willow Wai 2, Our Jack 3. Won by a length and a half. Time 1.27 3-5. TapuataHack Handicap:—Gordon Swift 1, Inoe 2, Fiery Comet 3. Won by three-quarters of a length.
