TO-MORROW’S HANDICAPS. The following are the handicaps for to-morrow’s road cycle races: — A grade:—Aldridge scr, Short!, Robinson ssec., H. Huff lOsee, D. Safherley, P. Honour 15sec, Marshall, K. Martin 20sec, Newson, G. Coley 25see, W. Wright, Cunningham 30see, King 35sec. B grade:—Lockwood scr, Newson ssee, Smith, E. Coley 7sec, .T. Satherley, W. Williams, T. Taylor lOsec, Chrystall, I. Wright, L. Royal, Small, Lunquist 15sec, Lucinsky, Hirini ISsoc, Newth, Parfitt, O’Reilly Broad 20see, Sharpe 25sec, Honour lOOsec. ' Last night several local athletes visted Palmerston North for the purpose of participating in sports in connection with the Jubliee. The successful eompetitorsxnre as follows : One mile B grade cycle: —G. Aldridge (55yds) 3. Broad jump:—T. Wright. (18in) 18ft. 10in., tied with Weston (Palmerston North, for second place. Two mile B grade cycle handicap: —G. Aldridge (scr) 2. Hop, step and jump:—W. Wright (24in) 3. In the half mile cycle handicap C. Short! (50yds), came second in his heat hut was not placed in the final.
