GIRL GUIDES.
Last Saturday the first company of the local Girl Guides went for a tramp to the seaside, under the charge of Acting Captain Dent. An enjoyable time was spent on the sand.
The following promotions have been made in the troop:—
Bessie Crowe, from Patrol Lea dcr to Acting-Lieutenant; Margaret Tver, from Second to Patrol Leader; Hazel Owen,'‘from‘Second to Acting-Patrol Leader: Meta Mason. to Acting Second; Ada Roore, lo Second; Jessie Crowe, to Patrol Leader; Ina Easton, to Second.
