JACK HOLT AT CABARET
The bandage has been lifted from the eyes of the goddess of justice in the thrilling court room scene in “The Blind Goddess,” a fine mystery drama heading the list at the Town Hall Cabaret to-morrow (Wednesday) evening. Jack Holt, Esther Palston and Louise Dresser, are ■ the prominent players. The story of “The Blind Goddess,” is the thrilling romance of the New York law courts and the blundering efforts of the criminal law to achieve -what is called justice. It is said to be the most startling revelation of the unreliability of circumstantial evidence 'ever portrayed, with a comedy, screen snaps and News.' “The Blind Goddess,” will be screened at usual cabaret prices. VAUDEVILLE CELEBRITY. On Thursday evening arrangements have been made for the ap-. pearance, direct from the Regent Theatre Auckland, of “Little Jack ie Clarke,” the Australian Juvenile comedian, who recently caused a sensation in the theatre world by his work as a member of “The Sunbeam Kiddies,” who accompanied “The Only Way” during its screening in the better class theatres of Australia and New Zealand. Foxton is fortunate in seeing this star, as a date has been fitted in between his appearance at the Regent Auckland, and the Regent Wellington, where “Little' Jackie” opens a season immediately after his Foxton appearance.
