The engagement, is announced.of .Miss Ruby King, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. King, Avenue Road, Foxton, to Air. B. Hollier, of Levin, second son of Mr. and Mrs. IT. Hollier. Cook Avenue, Palmerston North.
Mr. R, Moore, M.A..L.L.8., of the local legal firm of Messrs R. Moore and Berlin, has added a further degree lo his previous academic attainments.. ITis name appears in file cabled list of degree successes as having obtained bis M.Se. (equivalent to lirst class honours). The Prime Minister was accorded an enthusiastic civic welcome at Auckland yesterday. Mr. Coates and Mrs Coates will spend the week-end at their home, returning to welcome the Duke and Duchess.
