HOROWHENUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD.

ENGINEER’S REPORT,

The following report oil the work of the month was presented to the Horowhenua Electric Power Board by the engineer (Mr. J. A. Smith), at the meeting on Tuesday:—

Installations. —During the period 48 new consumers have signed up, including eight ranges, eight' waterheaters, one milking and one industrial and one pumping motor. Ten applications have been received for extensions, including two ranges, one water heater, one milking motor, one pumping motor, and two industrial motors, 25 new consumers have been connected up, and 13 extensions to existing installations, including six ranges, two wa-ter-heaters, one milking motor, and two industrial motors. Ten houses out of a group of 23 railway houses at Paekakariki have been connected up, and the wiring of the station, engine shed, and yards hus been started.
