BOROUGH FINANCE.
TREASURER’S STATEMENT,
The treasurer reported as follows at last night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council: —
During the month of January the sum of. £9515 12s lOd was received and placed to the credit of the following accounts: —Cemetery Account £ll 7s lid, Drainage Construction Loan Account £l9 14s Bd, District Fund Account £925 10s Bd.
The ledger balances at the 31st January were as I'olloavs: —Accounts at debit totalled £205 0s Bd, and were made up as folloAVS: —Imprest cash £lO, gasworks £122 3s 4d, hospital and charitable aid £ls 4s Hd, Town Hall £57 12s Bd.
The accounts at credit were: Cemetery £147 19s 2d, drainage construction loan £162 11s sd, general £573 11s lOd, interest £298 9s Id, library £lO9 5s 4d, reserves £lls 10s 3d, roads and streets No. 3 £2284, Toavii Hall pictures account £52 7s lid, Town Hall No. 2 £445 17s 7d, waterworks £lB5 13s (id.
The report Avas adopted and accounts totalling £3,790 13s 9d Avere passed for payment.
