MAN CUTS THROAT AND .JUMPS FROM WINDOW.

Blenheim, February 11

Henry W. Carson, about 50 years of age,described as a water diviner, cnl bis throat with a razor early this morning at the Seddon Hotel, and then threw himself from an upstair window.

A man sleeping in the same room heard nothing, and was asleep until awakened by an investigating constable.

The deceased was a. member of Hie Australian Expeditionary Force in file (treat. War and in receipt'of a pension. He told a constable a week ago that be had lost two wives and was tired of life. He is believed to have a sister living at Belfast, Canterbury.
