“Black Paradise,’.’ an exciting story of tiie underworld,- and the South Sea Islands vvil be the big item in a line week end programme, at the Town Hall to-night. The plot, tells of a. desperate battle of wits between a detective, a young crook and a. brutal ship and South Sea island owner who operates a licet of rum runners. Madge Bela my as the young' crook’s wife is carried along in the excitement on the rum runners, and iinds herself eventually marooned on a volcanic South Sea. Island, where her only companions are exiled “wanted men.” How a volcanic eruption solves many problems, and clears up a complicated position makes one of the Jinest dramatic screen climaxes of the year. Edmund Lowe, Leslie Feuton and Paul Panzer assist Madge Bellamy in the cast. “A. Bankrupt Honeymoon,” a special comedy. Canary Islands (scenic), and Eox News are also screening to-night.
