To-morrow afternoon a local team will journey to Levin to try conclusions with Snhan’s rink for possession of the Kinneburgh Feathers. Foxton players will be: —Huntley, Christie, Nye, Thomson (s).

On Saturday afternoon rinks from Dunncvirke, Woodville, Pahintua, and Ekeiahuna played rinks from Terrace End, Northern, Manawatu, Takaro, Feilding, and Foxton on the Palmerston North and Northern Club’s greens. The weather conditions were ideal, and after some tine games had been played the rinks from over the ranges carried off the honours by winning 4 games to 3, and totalling 146 points to 133. The match the local bowlers were interested in resulted as follows: — Dannevirke: Rekister, Davis, Greenwood, and J. S. Rankin (s), defeated Foxton: Balsillie, McKenzie, Wood and Nye (s), 23-18.

DIXON CUP AND TUCKER BADGES.

Palmerston North Club also staved off a challenge from Pahiatua Club for the Dixon Cup and Tucker Badges, by 22-19.

On 'Satimlay of this week, Shannon Club will send two rinks to Foxton on a “friendly” visit.
