Reserved judgment lias been dedel ivered by the Chief Justice (Hon. C. P. Skerrett) in the case of a motion by the Official Assignee in Bankruptcy in the estate of William Kerr, for an order declaring that a certain deed of arrangement made in July 1925, in favour of the Union Bank of Astralasia, was fraudulent and an act of bankruptcy; and declaring the said deed and transfers to the bank thereunder void. His Honour ruled that the deed must he set aside, and the properties and rights transferred to the Official Assignee; the bank was ordered to pay costs. Liberty was given to other parties concerned to apply for further directions, oi such relief as they might be entitled to. Kerr at the time of the transactions was manager of the Bank’s Stratford branch.
