TENNIS NOTES
A general meeting of the Foxton Tennis Club Avas held at the courts on Saturday afternoon, Mr. L. C.aii Bryant presiding. ‘Messrs. J. Madr . den and R. Hickson were elected , members of the club.
'lt was decided to hold weekly dances in the Masonic Hall and the following were elected a committee to run the 'dances: Messrs. W. and N. Ross, J. Bree, W. Roach, L. C. Bryant, D. Me Murray, R. Warwick, J. Christie, H. Hutchins, Mrs. F. C. Hay, Mrs. L. C. Bryant, Misses B. Gower, M. Stevenson, C. Walsh, R. Perreau, L. Thompson, A. Haydock, K. Roore N. Woods, B. Rearson, J. McMurray.
Four sub-committees were set up, each to be responsible for keeping in order of one court. The heads of the committee were' appointed and the others drawn for as follows:—
(A) J. Christie, C. Billings, M. ■Kennedy, I. Coin, F. Cowley. (B) ~N. Ross, R. Hickson, J. Bree, Wl Roach, W. Ross. (€)., R. Warwick, R. Ball, T. Perreau, L. Ihle, R. Shaw. (D)., D. McMurray, L. C. Bryant, E. Stevenson, E. Wanklyn, L. Mattar.
