BULLDOG DRUMMOND’S THIRD ROUND., “The Third Round,” one of the famous Bulldog Drummond stories, by “Sapper,” will be offered as the head line attraction at the Town Hall cabaret to-morrow (Wednesday) evening. Excitement prevails throughout (he film and Jack Buchanan who plays the role of Drummond has something to contend with in the gang of crooks under the leadership of his old enemy Peterson, and an unscrupulous syndicate who are making every effort, lawful and unlawful, to obtain the secret of the manufacture of synthetic diamonds from Professor Goodman. They are partly successful when Drummond is won to champion the cause of the Professor. Through breathless stunts and hair raising incidents Drummond at last succeeds in outwitting the gang. On the same programme is “Stick Around” (comedy), Screen Snaps, and latest News. Usual cabaret prices. The second to last picture made by the late Rudolph Valentino, “The Eagle,” has been hooked for screen-, ing at the Town Hall on Friday next. In this feature,’ Valentino is seen in the picturesque role of a Cossack officer, who to escape dangerous love affair, becomes a bandit known as “The Eagle,” Vilma Banky has the leading supporting role and Louise Dresser is also in the cast.
