NOVEMBER WORKING. The amount of gas manufactured during the month of November was 373,200 ft.., which with the amnnnt in the holder on November Ist 16,000 ft. made a total of 389,200 ft. During the month 326,200 ft. were used bv consumers, 20,000 ft. at the works and there were 18,200 ft. in the holder on December Ist, making a total of 364,400 ft. accounted for and leaving 24,800 ft. representing (5.4 per cent, unaccounted for. Thirty-four tons of eoal were carbonised, yeilding 10,076 c.ft. of gas to the ton and producing 7 tons 5 ewt, of coke. The receipts for ttu> month totalled £l9l 4s lid and were made up as follows: —Gas sales (lighting), £43 13s Id, (heat, and power), £lO3 10s 9d, coke sales £6 7s sd, tar sales '£2o 6s Od, fittings £l2 2s 2d, miscellaneous £1 6s fid. The expenditure for the month totalled £244 18s 9d and were made up as follows: —Coal £9B 10s 2d, salaries and wages £sl 5s 6d, sei - vices and fittings £l7 Is lOd, tools 5/-, general repairs £3 16s 9d, meters £4 14s sd, cartage and freight £3 Is lid, Power Board £2 10s, phone £3 0s Od. sundries £1 Is 6d, Interest and Sinking Fund £59 11s Bd.
