ECLIPSE OF THE MOON
The moon is due for total eclipse on June 15 next. As the shadow of the earth upon that section of the heavens of which the moon will be the centre, is infinitely greater than the circle of .observation offered by the moon against the sun, the eclipse in June will occupy some hours, as against minutes in the case of the sun. Fortunately it will begin early in the evening, and will be observable all over the Southern Hemisphere.
