BOWLING.
NYE FERNS MATCH. Yesterday afternoon the ideal weather attracted a good attendance of bowlers to the local green and an enjoyable time was spent. The principal games were for the Nye Ferns, two challenges being disposed of. The first game resulted as follows:—Challengers: John Ross, F. Rinnner, J. Thomson, J, Barr (s) 23 v. D. Whibloy, Christie, Nye, S. Matter (s) 20. ' The second game resulted: —Holders : John Ross, F. Rinrmer, J. Barr J. Thomson (s) 25; Challengers: D. Whible.y, Matter, Christie, Nye (b) 18.
Walker’s rink will play the holders next. N
