Witli the reputation of a big story success, with the glamorous back stage life of Broadway for a background and with a brilliant cast of stage and screen favourites headed by Tom Moore and Bessie Love, •'‘The Song and Dance Aran” will be screened at to-morrow evening’s Cabaret, ft combines laughter, heart tugs, pathos and humour with the romance and picjures<iucuess of the stage. Cabaret prices, 1/- everywhere, ltiuold Bell Wright’s zestful adventure story, “The Aline With the Iron Door,” should provide patrons on Thursday with plenty of exciting entertainment. While making several scenes of the Truart Production, “Romance Road," in which Raymond McKee is the featured player, Fred Windemerc, the director, was attracted by a nondescript dog who, despite the efforts of bis assistants, persisted in getting in the range of the camera. Unable to rid themselves of the hound, the director kept him in the picture and the bit between McKee and the dog turned out to be one of the highlights of the production. To he screened to-morrow evening at the Royal Theatre. On Friday Hoot Gibson appears in “The Phantom Bullet.” As an extra, Cenluary comedy, “Twin Sisters.” Usual prices.
