CHRISTMAS GREETINGS BY TELEGRAM.
Telegrams containing the text “Wishing You A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year” will.be accepted on the 17th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th December at a uniform fee of sixpence, provided that the address aiid signature together do not exceed eleven words; any excess of that number will, be charged for at the rate of id. per word. On the 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st December telegrams containing the text “Wishing You A Happy New Year” will be accepted at the same rate. Specially printed forms hearing the respective texts have been prepared for the convenience of the peblic and may be obtained at the local post office. To ensure delivery by Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, greeting messages should be lodged not later than the 23rd and 30th December respectively.
