QUEEN CARNIVAL.
CORONATION CEREMONY TO-NIGHT. There will he a full house at the Town Hall to-night to witness the final scene in the Swimming Baths Carnival, s when Miss Mona Stevenson (Sports Queen) will be crowned and the Maids of Honour, Misses 15. Moore (Fibre Queen) and N. Spring (Citizens) given public recognition. Special dresses have been procured for the coronation ceremony, and the setting- should he spectacular and pleasing. At the conclusion of the crowning, those who have assisted in the effort will he the recipient of Royal honours. Those taking part are as follows: — Lord High Chancellor: Mr F. A. Mason; Lord High Mayor, Mr M. E. Perreau; Lord High Chamberlain, Mr G. F. Smith; Lord High Constable: Mr Barron; Director of Ceremonies, Mr J. K. Homblow; Court Trumpeter: Air B. Walls; Lady-in-Waiting: Miss B. Gower; train bearers: Aliases Rona Wishart, Alary Alartin, Olga Saville, Peace Afartin, Ada Eoore, Audry Barron; flower girls: Alisses Joan Barron and Daphne Stevenson;. pages: Augustus Martin and Alan Saville. Air H. Osborne’s orchestra will provide the incidental music and vocal items will be given by Royal command. A dance will he held at the conclusion.
