SWIMMING BATHS CARNIVAL.

A meeting of the executive committee of the Swimming Baths Carnival was held on Wednesday evening and arrangements for the Coronation ceremony were put in hand. The crowning was fixed for the 91 li November. The nett result of' the concert was £22 14/-, a very satisfactory addition to the funds. Mr Hamer has kindly consented to put on a concert and picture entertainment, the proceeds to he given to the Queen and her Maids of Honour towards expenses of dresses., etc, for the coronation. The Sports Queen Committee announce that the number in the envelope was 53, the winner of the tray cloth being Mr .). Evans. The supper given to those who took part in (he recent concert was given by the executive committee and not Mrs Pearson, as previously stated. The drawing for the pony took place on Monday evening and it was won by Seymour Small.
