PERSONAL.

Mr and Mrs A. Martin, of Palliatua, celebrated the Ofitli anniversary of their wedding day last week and were the recipients of numerous congratulations from relatives and friends. Both are in remarkably good health. Mr Martin, who is in the vicinity of 90 years, being able to drive his own car. When about 80 years of age Air Martin competed in a swimming handicap race and obtained the second prize. Mrs IT. Berry, of Foxton is a granddaughter of the old couple.
