Four rinks from Shannon Bowling Club journeyed to Palmerston N. and met the Manawatu Club last week in the first of the inter-club matches. The games resulted in a win for Manawatu by four points. The following are the scores: — Whibley won from Jones 15-14; Roach lost to Radford 13-22; Jones won from Spooner 25-16; Spencer lost to Corbridge 16-21. Total: Manawatu 73, Shannon 69. The Shannon Club has decided on the following dates for other interclub fixtures: — SATURDAYS. Levin. —December 11th. Terrace End. —January Bth. Foxton. —February 12th. Otnki. —March 12th.
