FOXTON DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL.
PLANS AUTHORISED FOR ADDITIONAL BUILDING. At last night’s meeting of the Wanganui Education Board, Mr. J. K. Ilornblow reported that the signatures had been secured of the Maori owners transferring the section of land adjoining Ihakarg Gar? den and the school tq the Board for the purpose of erecting thereon a building to accommodate the secondary and technical classes. He stated that the solicitors had been authorised to complete the documents. The .Chairman/ (Mr Collins) moved that a letter of thanks and appreciation he forwarded to the Maori owners for their splendid generosity which was an example to the pakchas. , It was decided to have plans pre-, pared for the building to be erected in brick.
