MAORI RUGBY TOURISTS.
VISITS TO WINDSOR AND ETON London, Nov. 1 (>. The Maori Rugby team visited Windsor Castle, and later saw Eton’s famous wall game. The wall game, however, proved so mysterious with its bullies, getters, and other technicalities, that the Maori Rugby tourists, half-wav through, deserted their places on the front wall and went to watch two junior house teams playing Rugby here. The Maori visitors divided themselves into two bodies, and cheered on the respective sides to victory. Prior to this, the Dean (the Rev. J. IT. Bailey) told the Maoris the story of the Garter in the Chapel Order, and also showed them the room where Shakespeare’s “Merry Wives of Windsor” was first played by the Choristers before Queen Elizabeth.
