THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wired at noon to-day as follows: — Indications arc for southerly winds strong to gale, and veering by west to north. Weather will probably prove cold and showery, but indications are for temporary improvement shortly. Barometer rising tendency, but falling after 30 hours. Seas rough, tides moderate.
