ROYAL PICTURES.
Presenting a fresh and sparkling story, a east of celebrated names, a plot with an unique twist, and Marion Davies in a modern role, “Zander the Great,” the new Met.ro-Goldvvvn-Mayer production, will he shown' at- tiro Royal Theatre on Friday. “Zander the Great” was adapted from the stage success by Salisbury Field, in which Alice Brady starred for almost two years on Broadway. It was directed by George Hill, and contains all the suspense and interest of the stage production, with scores of added thrills and delightfully refreshing situations. Tense is the only word to describe this picture! You’ll hold your breath when Pete Morrison descends that perpendicular wall of rock —down, down, to the abyss below, where a. hermit’s cabin concealed a . . . (we’d spoil the picture if we told you). See it on Saturday at the Royal. To-niorrow night a romance or the South Sea islands, “Typhoon Love,” will be the star attraction ;it the-Royal. The novelty of the theme, together with the all-star cast, including T. Roy Barnes, Ruth Clifford, Mitchell Lewis, Geo. Fisher and'others, make it a specially good medium for a night’s entertainment.
