ASSAULTS; TRAFFIC INSPECTOR. Wellington, November 3. , A labourer,,,named,.William McCrea, aged 24, who drove a motor ear fr.opya parking, place across the street and over the pavement, striking the town hall, yesterday afternoon, was to-day fined £2 for assaulting a traffic inspector, £5 for obscene language, and £3 for being in a car while in a state of intoxication, in default one week on the first and third convictions, and a fortnight on the second.
