HIGH COMMISSIONER’S
REPORT,
The High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 30th ultimo, reads: Hemp, Manila market, steadier and closed firmer with “J” grade, October-De-eember shipments sold at £46. Sisal market is quiet. Tanganyika No. 1 October-Deeember shipments offered at £43. The market is affected by the uncertainty regarding the Mexican position. The reduction is confirmed at 70/- per ton. The New Zealand market is quiet but firm, with sellers, October-December shipments at £3B and fair at £35 107-
