FIRE IN PALMERSTON

A fire shortly before 2.30 o’clock yesterday morning in Palmerston N., gutted the motor garage of Messrs Goldingham and Beckett, also (he shop next door occupied by W. Hardley (electro plater). The outbreak was preceded by an explosion. The brigade did smart work, confining the (lames to both premises.
