SCIENTISTS INJURED
EXPLOSION AT LABORATORY.
Wellington, October 27
Messrs C. Barnieoat, N. R. Dunn and 11. J. assistants at the Dominion Laboratory, were cut nbont the head and face by flying glass following an explosion. Their injuries are not expected to prove serious.
It is understood the explosion occurred while one of the staff was engaged) nitrating oil. The explosion was heard some distance away The windows on the south side of the room were broken.
