A young girl is wanted as domistic help for country. Collinson and Cunninghame Ltd. announce home sewing week, and list a number of items of interest in this connection. The Commissioner of Taxes draws the attention of taxpayers to the notification appearing in today’s issue that the due date of payment of Land-tax for the current year is on Friday, the sth day of November, 1926, and that the demands will be posted on or about the 29th day of October.. In to-day’s issue the Railway Department advertise the issue of special cheap excursion tickets to Foxton in connection with the motor cycle sports at Foxton on 25th October. The special train from Palmerston North to Foxton in the morning and back in the evening, and the cheap fares, should induce people to visit the sports.
