SWIMMING BATHS CARNIVAL
This evening, in the Royal Theatre, the Sports Queen Committee will hold a Duffers' Concert and Hypnotic exhibition 1 . The prices of admission will b(Y V/fi and 1/-, children half price. A dancing class will he hold in the Anglican schoolroom to-morrow, evening.
A euchre tournament was held in Hamer’s rooms on Tuesday for ihe Fibre Queen candidate, thorp being a good muster. First prizes wore won by Mrs Broad and Mr F. Robinson, seconds by Mrs Groom and Mr C. Colev.
A euchre party was held in Grady’s rooms last evening for the Sports Queen candidate. The attendance was good and the first prizes were won by Mrs Pearson and Mr Edwards, seconds hv Mrs Colder and Mr Ellers.
An executive meeting was held at the residence of Mrs Pearson on Friday evening. Mrs Perreau presided. It was decided that from November Ist to the end of the carnival (November 23rd) all queens be allowed open competition. Mrs Pearson reported that the Town Hall was hooked for the eoronaton in December.
